Lawrence Halprin é, em paralelo com Roberto Burle Marx o meu Arquitecto Paisagista predilecto, o primeiro pela forma genial do seu conhecimento de vegetaçao ,(mas não só) o segundo pelo uso magistral das estruturas no espaço publico, que verdadeiramente marcam o lugar .....

dedico assim este post à memória do grande mestre do Paisagismo mundial Lawrence Halprin.....

Fiz um post, curiosamente semanas antes do falecimento de Halprin (http://nucleoap.blogspot.com/2009/10/vislumbres-de-halprin.html ) nesse post, aproveitei para mostrar algumas das obras mais significativas. Neste post remeto para o aspecto teorico, isto é alguns textos onde Halprin nos indica a sua visão da Arquitectura Paisagista, bem como registo video, com declaraçoes pertinentes. Mas sobretudo, insisto na parte gráfica.... mostrar os porjectos de halprin através do DESENHO, disciplina essencial e fundamental do exercicio da Arquitectura Paisagista, porque esta profissão é : ARQUITECTURA paisagista, bem como arquitectura PAISAGISTA, quero com isto dizer que os profissionais e sobretudo os estudantes devem entender que nao podem remeter a sua actividade apenas para uma das vertentes ( ou da vegetação ou puramente estrutural ) a vida não é so preto nem só branco .... Halprin é um exemplo significativo do dominio do desenho, e do conhecimento botânico, bem como Burle Marx, e só assim o génio ou simplesmente o bom profissional desta nossa actividade pode sobreviver.....
